We are amidst an iconic title reign since winning the WWE Championship; the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns has been running through competition. If you read my blogs, you already know how highly I view Roman and how great I think his title reign is. Unfortunately, all great things must end, which begs the question of who will be the one to dethrone the Tribal chief? Wrestling fans are divided. Some believe Seth Rollins should end it, some believe Cody Rhodes should be the one, and Bray Wyatt and even CM Punk have also popped up in conversations on who it should be. It should be Cody Rhodes! The story is perfect. The outcast returns to his former company to claim the title his father never could win. Not many people can compete with Roman's star power, and Cody is one of the few who can! Rhodes is easily one of the biggest stars they have and is one of the only babyfaces that can match Roman's popularity, and is one of the very few options that look like legit threats to Roman. The question is, how would they end the Tribal Chiefs' title reign? Well, buckle up, folks, and let me give you my idea!

So first, I'll address the elephant in the room YES Cody Rhodes is still out of action with an injury, but I'm booking this for him to make a triumphant return at the Royal Rumble. So to start it all off, this is going to be a shocking return, don't let anyone know he's back; at the Royal Rumble match, he gets an incredible moment and comes out. There are a few directions they can go on this one. I think the best idea here would be to give him an early number so we can watch Cody overcome the odds on his first night back and EARN his title shot in the most challenging match possible. I give Cody the number 10 spot; it's early on, so he has to work hard for the win, but it's also late enough so he doesn't have to overexert himself. The arena would lose its top when his music hits! From there, you start you let the action take place. The Royal Rumble match is always fun and exciting, so to have Cody make a deep run in it will only help his title case. I'd like to see Cody eliminate six people, no names specifically, except for one person; that one person he MUST eliminate is Seth Rollins. The history between the two men saving their final clash for the main event spot of Wrestlemania is the PERFECT spot to end their iconic feud.

In an exciting back-and-forth exchange, we see Cody about to be eliminated, but he fights back, gets in the ring, and FINALLY eliminates Seth and exorcises his demon!! That's when it all kicks off! The win kicks off the Road to Wrestlemania, and right away, Roman and the Bloodline come out to confront Cody Rhodes and the final image of the night is Cody and Roman face to face. The Monday after Royal Rumble, Cody starts the show by talking about his win and return. He discusses how he finally has a shot at winning the title that eluded his family and how he is back to save the WWE from Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. After that promo, Cody Rhodes and Roman spend months exchanging words and shots at each other; Roman will call Cody's Father an " embarrassment to WWE" and mock his family for always being "second best." The important part with this feud is Cody and Roman WILL NOT come to blows until Wrestlemania night!!! To make a rivalry special, you don't always need the rivals to get into a physical altercation to get fans invested! Just sit back, have the verbal jabs flow, and have the two men cut promos toward each other. Give them press conferences; it feels like the biggest match in the history of Professional Wrestling, and the fans will buy into the notion! Building a feud like this will have the fans salivating for the two men to fight, and EVERYONE will buy the pay-per-view to watch this iconic matchup. Finally, at Wrestlemania, THE MATCH BEGINS!!! Cody and Roman battle for the richest prize in sports entertainment, and several times, Roman's reign is in trouble, but he kicks out.

All night long, twists and turns with heart-stopping near falls keep the fans on the edge of their seats. At the end of the match, THAT'S when it gets hectic, Roman is in serious trouble, and Cody is about to win the title, but The Bloodline comes out and starts to get involved. When all seems lost for Cody, the world is treated to a SHOCKING RETURN! The Rock comes out (he and Roman have been beefing over who the Tribal Chief of the family is.) Rock stands at the ramp and calls off the Bloodline and tells them Roman needs to do it on his own, and after a heavy anxiety-filled moment, the Bloodline backs off, and FINALLY, Cody puts down Roman FOR GOOD, and we crown a NEW Undisputed champion! It will be an iconic night for fans AND for The Rhodes family. The title that eluded the Rhodes family their entire lives is finally won! Cody honors his father in the best way possible and claims his spot at the top of the industry.

As for Roman, after his defeat, he doesn't go quietly, and the night after Wrestlemania, he comes on Raw and issues a challenge to The Rock so he can pay back for costing him the world title and so he can solidify himself as the Head Of The Table. That sets up Roman Reigns versus The Rock at Wrestlemania 40. Fans get a year-long build for a matchup everyone wants to see; it gives Roman a chance to establish himself as the biggest star of his generation and cements himself as one of the greatest of all time by having him defeat The Rock.
